Today marked our 2nd visit to the only standing, beautiful & serene “Kampung” community that is, Kampung Lorong Buangkok. It was a sunny Sunday for an outing and the team was happy to see so many new faces joining us for this yearly special outing to a very wonderful place. We were also blessed with a sharing session from our friend, Tan Teng Teng, whose folks used to live in the area & herself having fond memories of the place, hence the wonderful sharing session from her.
We were also blessed with an invite from a resident to step into his home and have a look into how they live so simply & thankfully in a humble Kampung house. The smiles on the participants’ faces when they walk out of the home was something that the team loves to see. Thank you to all participants for coming, be it new or old faces alike. The team looks forward to seeing you guys on the next outing.
