Old Woodlands Centre & Marsiling Tunnel Trail – Our third event of the year was wrapped earlier today. This time round the first part of our trip brought us to the Old Woodlands Centre. This iconic neighborhood centre is one of the earliest neighborhood centre in Singapore and it is going to be shut down for good sometime in the middle of this year. It was a very nostalgic outing for some of our participants today seeing their childhood place getting torn down soon.
The second part is of course the Marsiling Tunnels. It was as muddy & dank as expected but it was an awesome experience for the first timers who got to go in and have a feel of the place. The team would like to thank our guest guide Mr Kamal Abu Serah, a resident of Woodlands since it’s early days for being a good sport & host for today’s event. A big thank you to the participants today for sharing your Sunday morning with us. We would like to apologise for any hiccups during the event. We’ll see you guys again on our next event.
